The art of Woodblock printing 木版画
Woodblock printing in Japan (Japanese: 木版画, moku
hanga) is a technique best known for its use in the ukiyo-e
artistic genre; however, it was also used very widely for printing books in the
same period. Woodblock printing had been used in China for centuries to print
books, long before the advent of movable type, but was only widely adopted in
Japan surprisingly late, during the Edo period (1603-1867).

The art of Batik making
Batik is both an art and a craft, which is becoming more popular and well known in the West as a wonderfully creative medium. The art of decorating cloth in this way, using wax and dye, has been practiced for centuries. In Java, Indonesia, batik is part of an ancient tradition, and some of the finest batik cloth in the world is still made there. The word batik originates from the Javanese tik and means to dot.

NDP Fun Pack design 2008
在2007年4月得到Creative CommunitySingapore 的支持,成立了Digital Art For All 。

Community Art
It is interesting that the custodian who laid the foundation of this painting are the nurses, doctors, patients and visitors form the Singapore General Hospital, I imagine the red fingerprints as red blood cells from different blood groups and races. They depict our multi-racial society in great harmonisation. The heart shapes signify our four major races, and as a whole, most importantly, we are one people, one nation, one Singapore, that’s the way we will be forever more.
