Cocoon

There’s such a sociological term “cocooning” to describe one of our current major living trends and lifestyle in modern society. And it has been a while that I’ve made a visual comparison between the heavy-looking man-made structures with little birds flying freely in the sky. You may sense the different vibration in two completely different worlds, as to say, with such a great contrast in their vision statement, it makes sense for us to ask these questions:

Besides surrounded by walls, are there any other barriers that we created in our own life?
With more walls building up, are we getting lesser time to interact with others or nature?
Physical walls are just symbolic kinds of things, how about the invisible walls in our own thoughts?

What we could do is sit quietly at a corner of the CafĂ©, sipping a cup of house-brewed coffee, and watch the pigeons catching fun and turning to our table for food. Is probably a luxury moment in our fast-paced life by not doing anything but simply watching and searching for what we really want to be and being deep inside at this peaceful moment of “now”.
